1. Freshman Seminar in General Education
Titles of the Freshman Seminar are ‘A human being and field science’, ‘Rice cultivation and human life’, ‘Rural development and University involvement’, and ‘Familiar food culture in Japan’. We provide an opportunity to consider a human being and relations with the environment and rural development through some lectures, field experience and observation of crop fields and some domestic animals.

2. Professional training on field, crops and domestic animals to students in Faculty of Agriculture
Students manage some crops and livestock by themselves in ‘Crop management’ and ‘Livestock production’. In addition, some students learn
‘Agricultural engineering practice’ and ‘Processing of agricultural products’.
