We have been approved as a Joint Education Center by MEXT since 2012.
Akkeshi Marine Station (AMS) and Muroran Marine Stations (MMS), Field Science Center for Northern Biosphere, Hokkaido University, have been approved as a Joint Education Center for “Marine biology and ecology in cold-current ecosystem” by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), JAPAN since 2012.
