As education programs, we have classes for learning theory and basics of agroecosystems and field science. Also, we provide many <a title=\" Curriculum\/Program | Education | Hokkaido University, Field Science Center for Northern Biosphere, Experiment Farm\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fsc.hokudai.ac.jp\/farm\/en\/education\/curriculumprogram\/\" target=\"_blank\">training programs<\/a> in our Experiment Farm and Shizunai Livestock Farm for leaning method of agricultural practice for undergraduate students.<\/p>\n<h5>\u30fbFundamental Lecture in Field Sciences<\/h5>\n<p>To understand the field science on ecosystem consevetion, sustainable bioproduction, biodiversity, and material cycling in a wide variety of fields including forest, farm, and aquatic environments, and to learn the most advanced field science in each research field.<\/p>\n<h5>\u00a0\u30fbFundamental Lecture in Biomass Production<\/h5>\n<p>In this lecture, students study recent biomass and food production by plant agriculture, forestry, stockbreeding and aquaculture, and their fundamental biological and ecological system.<\/p>\n<h5>\u30fbAdvanced Course in Agricultural Environment for Crop Production<\/h5>\n<p>Students will understand characteristics of biological, chemical and physical environments in agricultural land and facilities, and learn how to improve the environments of agricultural land in terms of both productivity and sustainability.<\/p>\n<h5>\u30fbAdvanced Course in Environment and Management in Livestock Production<\/h5>\n<p>Students will understand characteristics of environments in grasslands and barns, and learn about environment creation, supply of feeds and waste treatment systems for livestock production.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Graduate students have resarch thesis related agroecology and plant breeding.
