Animals

A total of 150 beef cattle and 100 horses are kept in the farm. The breeds are there including Japanese shorthorn (120 heads), Hereford (5 heads) and crossbreed (25 heads) on cattle, and Hokkaido native breed (85 heads), Thoroughbred (5 heads) and crossbreed (10 heads) on horses. Those animals are reared on grazing pastures in summer, and fed storage on barns in winter. Hokkaido native horses are kept outdoor throughout year, especially.
